What's the difference between Granite and Quartz?Granite is a natural stone and Quartz is manmade! The first comes directly from the stone quarries and is then cut into slabs and polished. The second is engineered and contains a large percentage of natural Quartz bound together with resin.

What is a Remnant and How can it be used?A remnant is a small/medium piece of stone that has been cut from a larger slab. Often when we cut a countertop from a slab of granite, marble, or quartz, there are unused parts of the slab that become remnant pieces and can be used for smaller projects. GNL has an amazing project to sell remnant pieces and you won’t believe the nice rooms you can design spending a small amount!

Do Quartz countertops need to be sealed?Unlike natural stone, QUARTZ countertops do not need sealing or waxing to protect from stains and mildew, even on white Quartz.

How do I daily clean my granite countertops?Clean your granite daily with a damp cloth and a few drops of dishwashing soap. Rinse the countertops with clean water and then dry it with a soft cloth. Simple like that! 😊

When can I use my countertops after installation?Usually a 24-hours window is required in order to have any silicone or caulk properly dried.

Is quartz cheaper than granite?Quartz and granite countertops are priced similarly per square foot, with granite counters having the wider variation in price. Granite can be more expensive than quartz at times, based on the availability of a color and pattern.
